Electric Energy Purchase Management Program
Electric Energy Purchase Management Program includes both procurement and ongoing analysis. There are delivery and tax related incentives for customers to purchase their electric energy from qualified Energy Service Companies (ESCO). Energy Enterprises will assist you in finding an ESCO that best meets your requirements and then monitor your usage, cost, and savings to help you obtain your maximum savings potential.
Natural Gas Purchase Management Program
The Natural Gas Purchase Management Program includes both procurement and ongoing monitoring. Energy Enterprises has consistently saved our customers over 20% on natural gas procurement. Additional savings are achieved as a result of the ongoing monitoring of our customers’ meter reads and utility and supplier statements.
Installed Capacity and Energy Curtailment Programs
New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is the organization responsible for the reliable coordination and operation of the NY bulk power system as well as being the facilitator of the NY wholesale market. It is the responsibility of NYSIO to ensure that there is sufficient Installed Capacity (ICAP) to meet the Demand of all NY consumers that receive energy through the grid. As new users are added, or the maximum requirements (Demand) of existing customers is increased, the incremental Load (energy) must be added to the existing ICAP requirements. NYISO has to assume that the Load (ICAP) needed to satisfy the maximum Demand required for all customers has to be available at all times.
